"MSS Revisited." 72 pages. Published in April 1998. $7.
A brief history of MSS magazine,
an undergraduate literary journal published at
Princeton University in 1949-51,
followed by four MSS short stories authored by Jose Donoso, Walter Clemons, Jr., and R. V. Keeley.
The stories concern a woman's nose job, a child's fear
of his father, boredom at a gas company,
and the Greek civil war.
Included are obituaries of Donoso, the premier
novelist of modern Chile, and of Clemons, a literary critic
long featured in Newsweek magazine.
